1. Which year did you join KTJ, and when did you graduate from KTJ?
I joined KTJ at the start of 1992 and completed my A-Levels in 1997.
2. Which house were you in?
Imran House
3. What do you remember most about KTJ?
Learning about responsibilities, respect for teachers, making good friends (whom I still keep in touch with now), and fun inter-house singing nights, I remember KTJ most as the place where I grew up.
4. Tell us about your educational journey after KTJ.
Graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom mid 2000.
5. If you had to go back and relive your high school (KTJ) experience all over again, what would you change and why?
I would socialise more with my juniors, as I previously thought it was not cool to mix with them because of seniority. However, I have good younger friends and business partners.
6. What do you do now (work)?
I am currently the Chief Financial Officer & Director of a US-listed special purpose acquisition company which is acquiring a KL-based technology group and when merged, seeking approval to be listed on Nasdaq hopefully by this April.
7. What did you learn that is most applicable (proper, most vital) to your current position?
I learned that teamwork is vital, as we cannot do it all alone, so we must know & acknowledge each team member's strength to achieve our goals.
