Alumni Takeover |
On June 16th, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Syed Zaheen (class of 2016) and his wonderful family back to KTJ during their brief visit to Malaysia. The campus was nostalgic as Zaheen strolled through familiar grounds, revisiting treasured spots like Nadzaruddin House, the bustling dining hall, and the beloved Cafe Diem.
It was more than just a visit – a joyful reunion with memories, friendships, and the spirit of KTJ that never fades. We’re always delighted to see our alumni return and reconnect with the place that helped shape their journey.
On 14th June, we were thrilled to welcome alumna Tunku Shazwan Kaiyisah (class of 2000) back to school, accompanied by her family. Their visit included a special campus tour, with the highlight being the Naquiah Boys boarding house. It was heartwarming to see Tunku Kaiyisah reconnect with familiar faces, including her former teachers – Puan Sabrina, Mr. Moorthi, and Mr. Dickman. Her visit was a wonderful reminder of the lasting bonds formed within our school community.
On June 9th, Nur Afifah Mohd Noah (class of 2008) returned to campus for a spirited three-hour guided tour that was equal parts nostalgia and adventure. She revisited her old boarding house, Irinah, where memories came flooding back faster than the Wi-Fi ever did—and reconnected with Ms. Pathma, Ms. Angie, and Ms. Irena. Between heartfelt reunions and laughter-filled strolls, it was a day that felt like a highlight reel of her student days! Watch her interview here.
We were delighted to welcome Heng Yen Lee (class of 1997)back to campus on 23rd June during her brief stopover en route to Singapore. Though short, her visit brought fond memories and warm conversations. It was a pleasure having her on site, and we look forward to seeing more familiar faces in the future!
