Alumni Updates |
Lucas Appleton, (2022) alumnus, made a welcome return to his alma mater recently, offering invaluable insights to aspiring law students about pursuing a legal career. Now studying Law at the prestigious London School of Economics (LSE), Appleton shared his firsthand experiences of both academic life and professional development in the field of law. He spoke about both studying law in the UK as well as securing work placements.
For many students, the opportunity to hear directly from someone who has navigated the same path was both motivating and enlightening. Appleton’s return to campus highlighted the importance of alumni engagement and mentorship, reinforcing the close-knit community of KTJ that continues to support its students long after graduation.
We also recently welcomed Kailash and Hareekat (2012 - 2019). The pair took a nostalgic trip down memory lane as they reminisced fondly about their time at the school, particularly their years spent in the primary school. With smiles and laughter, they shared stories of the unforgettable experiences that shaped their early education.
The visit allowed them to reconnect with some of the teachers who played a pivotal role in their journey. In the secondary school, Kailash and Hareekat had the wonderful opportunity to reunite with their former teacher, Puan Norliza, who guided them through their academic and personal growth. Both students expressed deep gratitude for her influence and the lasting impact she had on their lives.
In addition, the duo made a heartwarming stop at the primary school, where they were able to catch up with Mrs. Prema, their former teacher. Their fond memories of her warm guidance and nurturing presence during their younger years were evident as they spent time sharing updates and reminiscing about old classroom moments.
If you’re planning a visit, please let us know by completing this form. We look forward to seeing you!
