Indoor Golf Facility Fundraising Project

Golf has become one of KTJ’s standout sports, with talented students consistently performing at high levels. However, unpredictable weather often disrupts training, cutting short valuable coaching time and limiting practice opportunities.

To support our young athletes and to raise the standard of sports at KTJ, we are launching our first major fundraising project: The KTJ Indoor Golf Facility.

The project will cost RM50,000 which will include turf flooring, hitting screens, 2 x MLM2Pro launch monitors. projectors, gaming computer, IPads, wiring and installation. 

Why this Project Matters: 

• Year-round training: Students can continue developing their skills even during wet weather, ensuring that their progress is never interrupted.
• High-performance environment: A smaller, controlled indoor space allows coaches to dedicate more time to technique, precise feedback, and individualised player development.
• Data-driven improvement: The facility will incorporate performance tracking technologies, enabling students to analyse and refine their game like true competitors.
• Broader participation: By making Golf more accessible and consistent, more students will be encouraged to take up the sport.
• Strengthening KTJ’s sporting reputation: This investment reflects KTJ’s commitment to excellence and positions the school as a leader in sports development.
• This facility will not only benefit our top Golf scholars but will open doors for aspiring players, helping create a strong pipeline of athletic talent within the school community.

This account has been established by the President of the KTJ Alumni Association, Datuk Leong Yeng Kit, as an entirely independent fund dedicated to supporting KTJ Alumni Fundraising Projects. 100% of all donations received will be allocated directly to these initiatives.
