Which year did you join KTJ, and when did you graduate from KTJ? 

Joined KTJ in 2001 (Form 2) and left in 2006 (After A Levels). 

Which house were you in? 

Naquiah then Imran (Imran riot!) 

What do you remember most about KTJ? 

Amazing teachers, facilities and friendships that bond you for life. 

Please tell us about your educational journey since KTJ. 

Studious for first 2 years, entered my rebel phase for the next 2 years then brought it all back together well enough to enter London School of Economics. 

If you could go back and redo your KTJ experience, what would you change and why? 

So silly of me not to pick up golf whilst at KTJ given we neighbour a beautiful golf course!  

What do you do now (work) 

I am based in London and I run the European business for a real estate private equity firm which is based in the United States. Find me on LinkedIn, here.  

What did you learn from the time you were in KTJ that is most applicable to your current position? 

The KTJ experience taught me to ferociously rely on myself which has helped me numerous times in my career. The KTJ boarding experience also naturally brings your guard down to be more vulnerable with people which leads to long lasting genuine friendships that I still and will cherish forever.
